Holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and a BA in English from Wake Forest University. He has extensive experience teaching English at both secondary and university levels. He served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, instructing over 300 university students and faculty in English conversation. He has also taught writing courses for international students and served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where he developed syllabi and mentored over 100 students in writing and research. In addition, he taught English conversation and literature courses at high school in Italy, helping students strengthen both language and cultural skills.
