Mr. Zhang is a graduate of Harbin Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. He is highly proficient in a wide range of brass and woodwind instruments, including trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, and flute. In addition to his instrumental expertise, he has a solid foundation in music theory, sight-singing, and aural training. With nearly a decade of experience in both teaching and performance, Mr. Zhang has taught at various music centers and conservatories. His teaching covers one-on-one lessons, group classes, ensemble coaching, and sectional rehearsals. He is known for his ability to adapt his methods to different student needs and levels, helping learners build both technique and musical expression step by step. Mr. Zhang has also performed extensively with professional symphony orchestras, gaining valuable stage experience that enriches his teaching. His dual role as educator and performer allows him to bring real-world musical insights into the classroom. Known for his warm, optimistic personality and patient, detail-oriented approach, Mr. Zhang creates a supportive learning environment that encourages growth, confidence, and a love for music.
