Susan has been in the education field for over 11 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, concentrating in math education k-12, from The University of Texas. Susan began her teaching career by instructing science and social studies in elementary school and taught all the way up to 8th-grade Math PreAP. While teaching in the public school system, she held various leadership positions, including Campus Science Facilitator and Mentor Teacher to university student teachers. She even took on the task of writing the 6th-grade math curriculum for the district she worked in. More recently, Susan has been virtually tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds, primarily focusing on math with some ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading) lessons for students in grades 1st through High School Pre-Calculus.
